San Francisco, and more!
......................................

wow, where do i start? I just got back from my show, "Layered" in San Francisco at the Urbis Artium Gallery. The show went well. Adam 5100 (the artist i had the show with) was on point with his new works.

hereAdam and I celebrate the hard work. See that red dot on my top right side of my forehead? I was hanging a piece of art, when it unexpectanly it began to fell. i threw my hands to support the work, but the level that was on top of the artwork continued to fall. it hit me square on the forehead and nearly knocked me out. i know it sounds stupid, but it hit me pretty good. It left me with a lump on my head for the duration of my trip and drew blood

The show was pretty packed. espically when you consider the fact that it was raining like crazy earlier in the day

Tons of friends came buy which is always great. Here Dan Vigil and Daryll Peirce pose for a shot

Urbis Artium alumni Melinda says hello her own 'special' way

my favorite minimalist steel artist Miya came by. Always a pure delight to see Miya, she is like a smile dipped inside hug wrapped inside a rainbow

Best of all though, was when my mother, her friend Linda, and girlfriend, Kristen came. Its been a while since i have seen my mom, so i was happy she made it out

After the show cleared out, we went do dinner at this Thai across the street from the 111 Minna Gallery who was having a show by Alexandre Orion. Alexandre's work is fucking incredible

We went to some place called Oshea i think. i forget the correct name, but the food was good, even if the service was like an army of snails doped up on lithium was serving us.

After we had our stomaches pumped with some Thai food, we slipped around the corner to a little bar for drinks to celebrate

the bar was nice, and featured some exceptional art from Sam Flores, Sylvia Ji , and others.

I ended the night happy with things, and slept like a baby.
