STENCIL CHINA
.................................

One of the worst things in the world is having great news and not being able to share it with anyone. For the past couple months, i had been in talks to bring a stencilng tour to China. Well, finally, i have conformation that it is going to happen! June 29th through July 7th me, and 5 other artists will bring stencilng to China. One week in Beijing, and one week in Shanghai. More details will follow in the upcoming months, but the line up so far is as follows:
Logan Hicks
Adam 5100
Akiro
Peat Wollaeger
Pisa 73
Fatoe
If anyone is in China, or has visted China, i would love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or advice on Beijing or Shanghai

hello logan
at the end of last year i spent 5 weeks in china with my school. i spent most of my time in nanjing but visited shanghai and beijing while i was there. theyre 2 of the most amazing cities, shanghai imparticular. see if you can go exploring in old shanghai, and ask around for the hu-tongs - very old maze like alleys and lanes. just ask the locals in the best chinese accent you can "hu-tong zai nar" (where are the hu-tongs) but i loved china and am vert interested in the response you'd get doing live paintings in the country. Us, as a group of foreign students regularly grew huge crowds of locals just watching us write things down in the streets.
enjoy it there, take advantage of increadibly cheap everything.

sounds great, go out stencilling in china, and you might even get shot by the police or sentenced to death. yeah!
wow Anonymous, no name huh? perhaps you are such a douche bag that you dont want to be called in front of folks? I didnt say that i was stenciling on the street, did it? nope, sure didnt. Know why i didnt? cause i am getting paid to go over and stencil, in an art gallery, in front of people. At least your mom loves you hopefully.
